Established 1982 for $350,000, with 26 acres, this park boasts a playground, picnic shelters, basketball courts, and baseball fields. This park was originally donated by a local real estate developer. It was named after William Pitts, the first city Director of Codes, who had passed away in 1964.
This park is a medium sized neighborhood park, but without a paved path isn't very walkable. The playground is cute and busy, and the dog park here is one of my favorites in town. I can't imagine I'd go out of my way here without a dog in tow.
