Joelton Park

This community center with approximately three acres of land was established originally in the 1970s. The name of the park has been stylized in the past as Joelton Park, Joelton Community Park, Joelton Community Club Park, Joelton McDowell Park, and other variations. 15 acres were donated to Nashville Parks in September 1988, and the park formally opened under Nashville Parks in 1989. It underwent renovations in 1991. Today, it hosts a playground, restrooms, picnic shelters, baseball fields, football/multipurpose fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, a half mile paved walking/jogging path, and a community center.
