Hope Gardens Park
At less than half an acre, this park sits in the middle of a newly gentrified neighborhood. It has a little gazebo, a playground, and a paved playground at the perimeter of the park. This neighborhood itself is very trendy, with colorful tall and skinny houses, and is one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the city, especially in close proximity to downtown. It was annoying finding a parking spot, but then, this park isn't for me. It's for the neighborhood. Three borders of the park are flanked by walls of single family homes, which is unique in our explorations so far. Also unique was that there were five stray cats, just chilling in the park. We've never seen any stray cats in any parks, and were also shocked at how fearless and unmoved they were as we walked by them.
