Opened in 1999, with 22 acres, this park has a community center, a playground, public restrooms, picnic shelters, and a couple of really cool art installations. There is a sundial made of airplane wings to commemorate the Americans involved with 9/11, and that was an unexpected point of interest that we appreciated. This park is really well maintained, and a great community park. The community center has hosted performances, day camps, sport tournaments, political discussions, Halloween costume contests, and more. There are tons of picnic tables, which makes it a great respite to sit and eats at.
