Founded in 1980, Hamilton Creek Park has 381 acres, a playground, public restrooms, hiking trails, mountain bike trails, a sailboat marina, a BMX track, and a boat launch. This park is gorgeous! It's actually the only park in Nashville with a BMX track. I've read reviews that the trails have incremental difficulties, which is also cool. The marina is gorgeous, as well. I will be honest- the drive through roads are rough- I actually popped a tire on a pothole, which was super frustrating. But we decided there were worse places we could be stranded, and had a lot of fun exploring while we waited for AAA.
