Built in 1978, this park has 80 acres, public restrooms, a football/multipurpose field, a soccer field, a boat launch, and a paved walking/jogging path. It runs alongside Mill Creek, and is a part of the Mill Creek Greenway. It was originally leased from the State of Tennessee for Central State Hospital, but was turned into a park, and eventually subleased to the Junior Pro Football League and the Antioch Youth Athletic Associations, who in turn, invested money into the fields in the 1980s. It's named for the road the runs along side it, and is a gorgeous place to take a stroll, with several natural undeveloped wooded areas. It is within a stone's throw of a correctional facility, but that's pretty easy to ignore when you see the creek.
