Cedar Hill Park

Updated: Apr 4, 2021

Cedar Hill Park is a gem! Over 300 acres, established in 1965. It has a playground, picnic shelters, public restrooms, baseball fields, tennis courts, paved walking/jogging paths, disc golf field, and a lake.

It was purchased in 1964 for $386K. It was originally named Old Center Park because there was a school in the center of the park named Old Center School. But after Metro Nashville took over, they named it Cedar Hill Park because of the multitude of cedar trees in the area. I had never been to this park before, and in walking the perimeter of the lake, found myself obsessed with the ducks- as the pictures show.
