This park was founded in 1983, and has over 270 acres, a playground, public restrooms, picnic shelters, baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, a football/multipurpose field, a mountain bike trail, a disc golf field, and a model airplane airfield, and a paved walking/jogging path. It's hosted baseball tournaments, and been a hotbed of controversy as neighbors have protested the model airplane field and Rutherford County has debated property lines with Davidson. It's a huge park- at one point the third largest in the city. It's gorgeous, too, with a lot of trails.
