Antioch Park

Antioch Park is located in the Antioch neighborhood. It was founded in 1950, to little acclaim. It hosts a neighborhood community center, which has open gym for residents and after-school care. It has a paved pathway along the perimeter, and shares a border with Antioch Middle School on one side, and the Mill Creek Greenway on another side. Mill Creek itself also runs along the park. There is a small playground, and lots of open greenery. There’s a total of 8 acres.

The park was very populated, but totally deservedly so. It was stunningly beautiful- perhaps because of the time of year. I was disappointed that for a seventy year old park, very little is publicly available about the history of the park.
